Did you know that the temperature of the earth, going downwards, first decreases to 8, 10, 12 °C and than getting to around the 50m-deep-range it starts increasing slowly.
Imagine 10-12 °C during summer-time. One gets shiver, even by thinking about it.
But nothing to be scared of! It is no need to move underground at all.
I have to mention it though that sooner or later it is going to happen that greater colonies will live underground.
There are historical examples of that: as the cave and cliff houses or the mud huts, etc.
The heat or cold of the earth i.e. its ENERGY can be transmitted.
